Day 4

It's another fun filled day. The day started off with us learning the traditional Soran Dance by the first to third graders. We also had fun trying to learn the dance!

Interaction and making friends time! We had great fun playing simple games such as Rock, Scissors, Paper!

More cultural exchanging using iPad. Pupils from Singapore, Surabaya and Japan making videos of self-introduction and learning each other's language through the simple iMovie app...

The activity that we have been waiting for! Padi planting! The first step into the padi field felt suqishy at first. However, we got used to the feeling and everyone of us had fun learning how much hard work was put into each grain of rice! We promised to each everything on our plate in future...*fingers crossed*...

Lunch time after a hard day's work!

Area cleaning time! Everyone plays a part in keeping the school premise clean and conducive for a great learning environment! We even got down to our knees to clean the floor!

Games time again! Ball tossing and relay race!

Exchanging our name cards and making friends with our Japanese counter part...

Having a blast during balloon sculpting with Hayami-san...

A quiet time as we learn to appreciate the Japanese tea ceremony where we had a taste of green tea with sweet cakes...

Flower arranging time! Even the boys get to learn this craft!
